For hundreds of years there has always been a problem with race in this country. The problem stems from both sides,
white and black. The white race will probably never understand what the black race (of yesterday) has gone
through. However, the black race as of today, has no clue what slavery is. They've never gone through it, only
their ancestors have. They need to quit holding on to that. Just because things don't always go the way they want
to, doesn't mean they have to fall on the color of their skin to get what they want. It's a dead subject and should
be treated as such.
Several years ago there was an issue that the black community thought the government and white society in general owed
an apology to the black community for slavery and land to the slave descendants. That is the crazied thing ever thought
of. First off, white society today has nothing to apologize for. It was over 132 years ago. The white society
today had nothing to do with slavery back then. Get over it. Every race has been a slave at one point in
time or another in human history. Sure you have a select portion of the white community that are still racist,
but think about it, it's still an issue to everybody else because the black community brings it up all of the time.
They feel it's the only thing they have a good hold of and they're right. The black community has a stronghold on everyone.
Everyone is afraid that a black is going to scream bloody murder of racism. If the black community stopped complaining
of the color of their skin, that small portion of the racist white community would slowly diminish. Why is
it that 90% of inmates are black males? Go figure.
There is no such thing as Afro-American. If you were born in this country, then you are an American, simply
put. If you think about it, true Africans, from that country, can't stand black Americans, for the simple fact that
they claim that they are African when they are not. Do the homework, it's true. If you were born in another country
then were raised in America, then and only then are you Asian-American or Afro-American etc. America is full of different
types of people. That's what makes us so unique, that is the beauty of this country. All of our descendants came
from other countries but "we" were born in America. So what does that make us? That's right, Americans.
Let's be proud of "our" country instead of being proud of a country that we've never been to before and probably despises
us.
It's ridiculous that here in America hip-hop is thrown in your face. The phrase "It's cool to be black", is stupid.
Try being yourself, not someone you're not. It is agreed that the word "nigger" is not a polite word to use. It's
absolutely absurd that the black community can call each other that though. There is a lot of hypocrisy that goes
on in the black community (as well as the white community too). Again that's a fact. They don't like it when a
white person uses that word, but it's ok to use amongst themselves? It doesn't matter if you're saying "nigger" or how
they say it "nigga". It's the same thing. It's said that the word "nigga" is a term of endearment. Are they
for real? So if a white person walks up to a black person and calls them a "nigga", it's ok? They would still
have a problem with it regardless. The black community needs to stop worrying about what the white community is
doing and help themselves first. Stop with the killing of yourselves. Why can't they speak in a normal tone?
Why does it always have to be so loud? Why are so many on some type of welfare with a litter of kids (white trash as
well)? This isn't made up, it's fact. There are a lot of white trash as well that do the same thing.
There are a lot of stupid things that the white community does too. Show some respect for yourselves. If you don't
like the situation, then change it...legally.
The truth of the matter is there is only one type of minority in this great nation of ours and that is the
single white male with the average white family trailing closely behind. Fact, not fiction.
America needs to cut off its' borders. Entirely too many immigrants are coming into this country. The funny
thing is, is that many of these immigrants come into our country to exploit us not embrace us. Why does the government
give these immigrants tax-free loans to start off their own business, when you have Americans born and raised that can't get
a decent meal or a proper education because they can't afford it? It's said that it's an incentive for the immigrants.
Then why won't our government give it's own people that same type of incentive? Why is it that immagrants
don't pay taxes for the first five years? Why isn't it a law that immagrants have to be able to speak english fluently
before they are citizens? Why is it in some states immagrants are given approximately $1500.00 per child they have?
Many immigrants come into this country, "somehow" get a credit card, make a few payments then max it out and ship the
items overseas back to their country. Then they skip town. Guess who pays for that? Fact, not fiction.
How is it that some mexican women can somehow sneak over the border, give birth then go back home? Then they are
allowed to receive social security and any other kind of money from us just because they snuck in our country to give
birth. More of our money wasted.
We need to keep a closer look at what is going on in this country. Other countries are using us. They act
like we're their friends but when we turn our back, they're throwing knives at us. That again is fact. Look at
France, we liberated them twice and what do they "still" do? Spit in our face. But when they need something, you
can bet your bottom dollar that our government will help them. Why, because this country has become too "politically
correct". Our government has become too soft, too lax. It's embarrassing.
Why is it when you walk into a corner market or any other store for that matter where immigrants own and run
it and "they" get upset with "you" because you can't understand "them"? This is America, learn "my" language.
Same thing goes when you make or receive a phone call to or from a creditor and you can't understand them either
(most from India). Why is it in some other states, Spanish is the first language? Again, this is America.
If you want to live in this great country of ours, have the common courtesy to learn our language.
How is it that a 40 or 50 year old immigrant can come in this country on a student visa? What are they going
to apply that to at that age? Nothing here in America. Like it was said, most of them can't even speak our language.
That actually happens all of the time. Do you know what they applied that to? That's right, the bombing of
the trade centers.
The rules and regulations for immigrants coming into this country to live and/or study, need to be more strict.
They should "have" to be able to speak our language fluently. No exceptions to the rule.
Too many Americans hold on to the past. My race was hurt here and my race was hurt there. Get over it and
yourselves. No one can change the past. God knows that we all would like to do that at some point in time,
but can't. All any of us can do is get over all of these petty differences and take care of what is going on now.
We can't change the past, but we can change the future together!
